This article is for anyone interested in playing classic title Lunar Lander online. It was less popular than other earlier game titles due to the fact it was a computer game. That is compared to Arcade titles like Galaga, Frogger, Space Invaders, Centipede, Dig Dug, and more. You control a Lunar Lander and thrust it/controlled it to further and more difficult landings. You must control the Lunar Lander when descending or the Lander will be destroyed. If the Lunar Lander hits anything at anytime except an even landing it will be destroying. You must also watch the fuel so you don't come barreling down destroying the ship.
The game will take a few tries to learn without destroying the Lunar Lander. It is very easy to find online and can be played from your internet browser window. The controls are usually either space bar or enter key as the thruster and the arrows move you. The game has a very simple concept behind it.
This was one of the earliest Educational games ever created and even paved the way for the bigger companies. Nintendo later made Educational titles Mario is Missing and Donkey Kong Jr Math. Lunar Lander compared to those games has very little replay value. That was due to the fact that it got repetitive fast and doesn't offer any different modes.
This game has been inspiring kids to be Astronauts since 1973 on ancient computer platforms and modern computer platforms. It has been remade dozens of times which you can find easily on either Google or Yahoo! Search Engines. For those of you who this inspired to play this classic computer game have fun and good luck not destroying the Lunar Lander.
